Les Pérégrinations de Pierre |
Bolivia, country of the Incas, Silver, Reed Boats, Coca and Evo Morales. La Paz for the past 2 days - I have mostly been recovering from my bus trips and trying to get accustomed to the altitude (3,600 m) and to the cold. I think I almost managed to get used to the later (bought a huge anorak!) but I am not sure about the former... I still feel dizy ...
La Paz is a vibrant and colorful city. It is studded with street markets (foods, clothes, witch craft articles), road noises are a mix of heavy traffic (amazing numbers of colectivos/micros (local buses/minibuses) with the driver´s assistant shouting destinations and prices!) and salsa tunes coming from surrounding stalls.
I have a very good feeling about this place, after 4 months of hot weather, I have difficulties in getting used to the cold starting at 18.00 until 10.00 in the morning L ... Once I get past this I will fully enjoy...
Tomorrow, Lake Titicaca
very little pics/videos downloading is too slow - will try another day
